Formerly RESTHeart Cloud

Until September 2026 Ulabase was named "RESTHeart Cloud" and was provided at the web address https://cloud.restheart.com. RESTHeart Cloud is now Ulabase: every user of RESTHeart Cloud is a user of Ulabase at https://ulabase.com, and this cookie policy replaces the one that applied to RESTHeart Cloud.

What Are Cookies?

Ulabase uses only technical cookies, for authentication, for a display preference and for payment processing.

Authentication Cookie:

  • Name: ulabase_auth
  • Purpose: User authentication and session management
  • Type: Technical/Essential cookie (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite Strict)
  • Duration: Up to 18 hours
  • Data stored: A signed token with the user identifier and roles. No personal information beyond the username, which is the user's email address.

The cookie is set by the Ulabase API at the api.ulabase.com domain. It cannot be read by scripts in the page and is only transmitted over HTTPS. It is essential for:

  • Maintaining your login session
  • Ensuring secure access to your services
  • Preventing unauthorized access to your account

Sidebar Preference Cookie:

  • Name: sidebar_state
  • Purpose: Remembering whether the sidebar of the Ulabase console is open or closed
  • Type: Technical/Functional cookie
  • Duration: 7 days
  • Data stored: true or false, nothing else

Stripe Payment Processing Cookies:

We use Stripe as our payment processor for Ulabase subscriptions. Stripe sets technical cookies that are essential for secure payment processing:

  • Purpose: Fraud prevention, security, and payment processing
  • Type: Technical/Essential cookies
  • Provider: Stripe, Inc.
  • Key cookies include:
    • __stripe_sid and __stripe_mid: Used for fraud detection and prevention
    • Authentication cookies: To maintain secure payment sessions
    • Security cookies: To protect payment data from unauthorized access

These Stripe cookies are used to:

  • Detect and prevent fraudulent transactions
  • Ensure secure payment processing
  • Protect your payment information
